Obituary Salley – Mr. Archie Clifton Davis, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Archie is the loving husband of Jackie Corbett Davis. They have been married for 59 years. Their daughters are Bobbie Dawn Hammond and her husband Mark of Lexington, and Dana Cagle and her husband Joey of Salley. Their grandchildren are Brandy & Warren Wasden, Jimmy & Ashley Jackson, Carmen & Rick Gleaton, and Dean & Anna Light. Their great grandchildren are Warren Wasden, Jr., Rafe Wasden, Connor Jackson, Savannah Jackson, Brayden Gleaton, Kolton Gleaton, Kinsley Gleaton, Laken Light, and Ellie Conant. Archie is the brother of Iva Mae Jeffcoat of Wagener, Eloise Martin of Wagener, Patsy (Sam) Stevenson of Neeses, the late Jack Davis, and the late Virginia Still. He has numerous nieces and nephews. Archie is a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. He loved hummingbirds and goats. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Visitation will be Monday, December 9 from 2 to 3 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. A Service Celebrating the life of Archie will follow at 3 pm with Rev. John O’Cain ministering.
