Anthony Wayne “Tony” Deckard 58, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, morning December 3, 2019 at his home in Bloomington. He was born on February 16, 1961 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Ervin Dencil and Joyce Rose Deckard. Tony was a 1979 graduate of Bloomington South High School. He worked on the family farm and for his father concrete business Ervin Masonry for several years, and then went to work as a printer for Hall Signs and later went to work for Wetterall Foods. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and campfires, and he loved the road, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and he loved spending time with friends and family, he will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Tony leaves behind his sons, Justin W. Deckard of Mitchell; Rusty K. (Karrie) Deckard of Shoals; seven grandchildren Aarin, Keegan, Joseph, Adam, Kenlie, Ryder, and Journie; his mother, Joyce Deckard of Bloomington; two sisters, Sharon Moore of Bloomington; Vivian Corbin of Lawrence County; and his loving girlfriend, Nancy Lynn of Bloomington. He is proceeded in death by his father Ervin Deckard, and sister Renee Harper. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37, Bloomington. With Rev Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, December 11, 2019 and on Wednesday from 11:00am to service time at the funeral home.
