Anne Lucille Manganelli, a longtime resident of Maplewood New Jersey and West Palm Beach Florida, passed away peacefully Thursday December 5th at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence. Anne was born November 3, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey to Anthony and Maria Vivona. She attended Local schools and graduated with a degree in accounting from Newark University. While in college Anne was president of Delta Phi Delta Sorority and active member of many clubs. She was named Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges and received the prestigious Gertrude Prestup Memorial Award for most valuable contribution to student life at the University. It was at the University that she met the love of her life Michael Manganelli. They married On Nov 25th, 1951. Together they raised 6 children. While raising the family Anne was active in the Catholic Church activities including church choir, bible study, and teaching CCD. She returned to work later in life and served as the bookkeeper for EC Carpenter Inc. for 12 years. In Retirement, Anne enjoyed time with family and friends, traveling and daily devotions. She was an exceptional wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who always put faith and family first. She will be greatly missed and cherished by those she left behind. Anne is survived by her adoring children, Denise Manganelli of Princeton, New Jersey, Douglas Manganelli M.D and his wife Deborah of Manasquan New Jersey and Jupiter Florida, Monique Manganelli-Orr M.D of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Corinne Manganelli of West Palm Beach Florida, Stephen Manganelli of West Palm Beach, Florida and Paul Manganelli M.D and his wife Amy of Naperville, Illinois. Seven grandchildren, Alexander Orr and his wife Zoe, Caitlin Manganelli, Anthony Garcia, Michael, Christina, Robert and Douglas Manganelli. One great grandchild Oliver Michael Orr; her siblings Josephine Doot, Eleanor Capik, and Morris Vivona and their families. Visitation Monday December 16th at Palms West Funeral home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm beach, Florida. Family and Friend will gather for Mass on Tuesday December 17, 2019, 11am at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Chapel, 315 S Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach. Anne is the dearest and most loving sister God blessed me with, and later became our treasured “Auntie Anne” to our whole family. Our hearts ache at her loss–but we have the consolation of our new heavenly STAR who is with JESUS and OUR BLESSED MOTHER whom she cherished during her life.
