Obituary Anita Elaine Chambers, 57, of Asheville, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mission Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Chambers was born on November 10, 1962, in Buncombe County, to the late John and Judith Kent Chambers. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from her job as a security officer at AB Tech. She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. Mrs. Chambers had a big heart and loved her family and her Chihuahua dearly. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her spouse, Pamela Lipe Chambers; her three sons, Darryl Cody Dillingham, Jeremy Cook and Zachary Gurley and his wife, Amanda; a daughter, Cassy Nicole Dillingham;a brother, Don McMahon; three granddaughters, Jailynn, Sky and Angel; a grandson, Ezekel; a cousin, Dwayne Cole and wife Jamie and their children, Dezmon, Brooklin, and Damion, all of Arden; and an uncle, Donald Kent of Weaverville. The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Mission Hospital for all they did for Anita and her family.
