Obituary of Albert T. Abramo Albert Tom Abramo, age 71, of Oxford and formerly of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home. Born in Hartford on June 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lena Morella Abramo. Albert enjoyed playing bingo, loved to color and listen to music, especially Christmas carols during the holidays, which was his favorite time of year. He also liked to bowl and never turned down French fries and Burger King. Albert was a superhero of sorts and his affection for all things “Batman” related will be forever missed. Albert is survived by a sister, Marilyn Garcia of FL, and his niece, Michelle Herschkowitz of Bridgeport. Other survivors include his guardian, Steve Smith of Prospect, his housemates and the staff at Old Good Hill Group Home and Project Unite Day Program. Albert will also be greatly missed by all his friends from the Kennedy Center. He was predeceased by his sister Linda. A special thank you to all the doctors and healthcare workers that have been a part of Albert’s life over the years. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. directly at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport.
