Sharon K. Daily, of Rolla, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 74. Sharon was born in Paducah, Kentucky on August 23, 1945 to the late Ova and Reba (Malone) Lewis. Sharon was a true child of God, she attended church regularly as her health permitted, but was always serving her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed shopping, interior designing, spending time outdoors doing yardwork, but most of all spending time with friends and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Sharon Daily is survived by her children, Paul Eells and wife Patricia of Crossville, Tennessee, Sheila Long and husband Michael of Burlington, Vermont, George Dean Powell, Jr. of Jefferson City, Missouri and Glenn Allen Powell and wife Darlene of Belle, Missouri; brother, Richard Lewis and wife Pam of Edgar Springs, Missouri; sisters, Patty Yates and husband Johnny of Rolla, Missouri, Melinda McCormick and husband Linnley of Rolla, Missouri and Janet Ellis and husband John of St. James, Missouri; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one sister, Loena Zifko and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary, Rolla, Missouri at 1:00PM with Chuck Whitmire officiating. Interment will be at the Pea Ridge Cemetery, Doolittle, Missouri. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Chapel prior to the service from 11:00AM until service time at 1:00PM.
