Robert Lee Crowley Jr. was born on July 17, 1952 in Flora to Mary James Vance and Robert Crowley Sr. He was the third child of six children.
He was a member of Smith Chapel M. B. Church. He attended East Flora High School. He retired from Ace Company. His hobbies were fishing, riding horses, and enjoying his grandchildren.
Robert united in holy matrimony to Shirley Ball in 1972 and to this union, three children were born. Charlotte (Randy) Simmons from Semmes, Alabama, Takeisa (Breco) Harmon from Flora, MS, and Rodney Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and three brothers, Marshall, Oscar, and Cleveland.
He leaves to cherish a loving wife Shirley Crowley; two daughters, Charlotte and Takeisa; two sons, Rodney and Keddrick; eight grand children, thirteen great grand children; three sisters, Bertha Crowley of Flora, MS, Linda (Marcelle) Whisenton of Jackson, MS, and Virginia (Al) of Alabama: James (Lynette) of Florence, Joe (Frankie) of Juneau, Alaska, James Earl (Carolyn) of Flora; a special sister, Roshelle (Popeye) Ball; brothers-in-law, Lionell Ball and Marcelle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends; special friends, Jody Jefferson and Willie Hudson; special nephews, Mykale, Amari, Noah, and Tamaris.
