Joseph Paul Helm July 26, 1932 – October 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Joseph Paul Helm, age 87, of Lebanon, passed away quietly in his home Tuesday evening, October 29, 2019. Paul was a beloved father, husband, mentor, and pillar of the community. Paul was also a Korean War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ann Issacs; parents, Wesley Alan Helm and Mattie Celeste Aldridge Helm; brother, Harvey Helm; sister, Eleanor Helm. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Helm of Lebanon, KY; three daughters, Dreama Jo Spalding of Lebanon, KY, Kimberly Ann Clancy of Lebanon, KY, and Shawna Raelyn Shaw of Louisville, KY; two sons, Michael Todd Helm of Florence, KY, and James Troy Helm of Cox’s Creek, KY; two sisters, Pauline Mouser of Lebanon, KY, and Julia Whitehouse of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 01, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Steve Skaggs. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home.
