Linda K. (nee Boothe) Houchin, 73, of Willowick, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at her residence. Born Sept. 7, 1945, in Brownsville, Pa., she had lived in the Collinwood area of Cleveland before moving to Lake County 13 years ago. Linda loved Elvis, Chuck Norris, and enjoyed family game nights at her daughter’s house. She was the loving mother of Kimberly (Fred) Putzbach (Casalina/Ritchie), Michelle (Steven) Nicola and Charles Houchin; cherished grandmother of Frederick Vincent Putzbach, Erik Putzbach, Nicole (JoJo) Blansit, Victoria Putzbach, Steven Nicola Jr., Randy Mills and Kaylynn Putzbach; great-grandmother of Kennedy, Gianna and Andrew; and aunt of Gene, Michael, David, Dionna and Julie. Linda was preceded in death by her dear son, Ralph M. Houchin; grandchildren, William Andrew Putzbach, Ryne Houchin and Noah Houchin; parents, William and Doris (nee Henk) Boothe; and brother, Gene Boothe. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
