Obituary of Zachary Alan Gaug Zachary Alan Gaug was born March 19, 1970 in Vancouver, WA. Loving husband, uncle, brother, and son, he passed away May 18, 2019. He is survived by his parents, Harold and Jeanette; wife, Tanya; sister Sandi (Conrad); brother Jon (Tracy) nieces Nkem, Allie (Evan), Diana & Ava; nephews Derek (Haley), Austin (Mackenzie), and Rex; great- nephew, James; great-niece, Paisley; numerous close friends, co-workers and precious pets. Zach was a kind, gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed life, could tame any animal, always had a smile of his face and a joke on his lips. Zach graduated from Camas High School in 1988 and worked at Trus-Way Inc. Zach loved being outdoors, hiking, fishing, working on the yard, skiing, 4-wheeling in the snow, playing & coaching indoor and outdoor soccer or simply hanging out with family, friends and pets. Zach loved to tease everyone he knew. No one was off limits from his fun-loving quick wit and most looked forward to a light hearted verbal exchange. Zach was an honest hardworking man who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Zach listened intently and loved his family and friends fiercely. He made his parents and all who knew him proud. Rosary will be held on Friday May 24th10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to OHSU Knight Cardiovascular Institute or a charity of your choice.
