Obituary for William G Hyncik HYNCIK, William G. On March 30, 2019. Age 94. Of Marlton, NJ formerly of New York, Merchantville and Mount Laurel. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Vera (Zydor), daughter Holly Sukenik (John), son William G. Jr. (Marilyn), seven grandchildren; Carl, Aaron and Paul Sukenik, Sarah Fraley, Adam, Christopher and Emily Hyncik and seven great grandchildren; Lilly and Annabelle Fraley, Henry and Charlie Sukenik, Madelyn and Julia Hyncik and Haden Hyncik. Predeceased by his son Lee Jay who sadly was lost to Myasthenia Gravis in 1984. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Patriarch and they will miss him greatly! He served in the USMC during WWII. Upon his honorable discharge he finished his college degree and embarked on several careers. While working at Macy’s in NY, he met and married Vera. He continued his career in retailing by moving to Philadelphia’s Gimbel Department Store. The family soon joined him in South Jersey. Upon the closing of Gimbel’s, Bill moved to an executive position in sales-operation-and administration with a Philadelphia manufacturer. Bill retired from this company in the latter part of 1989. Bill enjoyed retirement to its fullest. Summers at the Jersey Shore, Winters in Florida and in between became an active volunteer at West Jersey Hospital (Virtua) in Marlton. Spoiling the Grandchildren was top priority for him. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday April 6th from 10-11 AM at the Wiley Church, 101 East Main St., Marlton, NJ. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday April 6th. Interment will be private.
