William Blake Lambert May 11 1938 May 10 2019 (age 80)

William Blake Lambert, 80 of Meadowbrook passed away on Friday May 10, 2019. He was born May 11, 1938 in Independence, WV, son of the late Edgell and Madge Squires Lambert. William retired from Tropicana Glass in Bradenton, FL. He enjoyed boating, camping, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and working in the yard. He was a member and deacon at Jewel City Church. He is survived by one son, Greg Lambert, Weston; one grandson, Matthew, Shinnston; granddaughter, Amy, Saint Petersburg, FL; one brother, Paul Lambert, Marietta, OH; two sisters, Emma Lofe, Morgantown, and Helen Bosely, Ashburn, GA; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rita S Larew Lambert on August 24, 2017; seven siblings, Nelson Lambert, Don Lambert, Catherine Reed, James Lambert, Daniel “Bill” Lambert, Willis Lambert and Gary Lambert. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date and inurnment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Thornton, WV.
