He was born on January 13, 1968, in Chicago, IL, to the late Ronald and Ruth Justice Blankenship. Wesley was a plumber and an avid fisherman. He was a member of Longview Church and the Men’s Bible Study Group in Hernando, MS, but had previously been attending Riverwoods Church in Dyersburg, TN. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Riverwoods Church with Pastor Brandon Norton officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation services. Survivors include his wife, Anna Blankenship of Hernando, MS; and two sons, Corey Blankenship of Dyersburg, TN and Lucious Wierzbicki of Chicago, IL. Memorials may be directed to Riverwoods Church, 636 Hwy 51 Bypass, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
