Wayne’s Obituary Wayne A. Jacobson, age 67 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Sanford Hospital of Fargo, ND. Wayne A. Jacobson was born November 28, 1951 in New Rockford, ND the son of C.W. “Jake” and Mernice (Miller) Jacobson. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1969 and went on to the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton to be an electrician. He married Christine Frownfelter on July 22, 1972 in Fargo, ND. Wayne enlisted in the US Army and served from 1974-1977. Following his discharge he worked in Jamestown, ND. He returned to Grafton in 1981 and worked for Kerian Machines, MV Collette Farms and Harriston Industries. Wayne’s favorite pastime was visiting with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, reading westerns and living summers at the Lake of the Woods for many years. He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter, Brenda (Tim) Kaczorowski, Brillion, WI; granddaughter, Olivia and grandson Logan; his mother, Mernice, Grafton, ND; sister, Julie (Daryl) Campbell, Grafton, ND; brother, Steve (Tracy) Jacobson, Detroit Lakes, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, one sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and several cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be provided by the Grafton American Legion and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard. Read More
