Wanda Mayfield died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Farwell, Texas at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 5 days. She was born February 2, 1935 in Celeste, Texas to Doyle Rueben and Winnie Oneta (Freeman) Davis. She married Billy Mayfield in Olton, Texas on July 15, 1952. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents; one brother, Jerry Davis; and one great-granddaughter, Copeland Fair Farley. Wanda is survived by her two sons, Bruce Mayfield and his wife, Roxanne of McEwen, Tennessee and Byron Mayfield and his wife, Schree of Texico, New Mexico; her five daughters, Paula Blanton and her husband, Michael of Nashville, Tennessee, Pam Norton and her husband, David of Farwell, Texas, Pat Gaw and her husband, Mark of Brentwood, Tennessee, Phillis Mayfield of Nashville, Tennessee and Teresa Knight and her husband, Jay of Longview, Texas; her brother, Ronnie Davis of Stephenville, Texas, 18 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
