Virgil S. Holder, Jr., 77, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in Eldon, Missouri. He was born September 29, 1941 in Miller County, Missouri the son of the late Virgil Sherman Holder, Sr. and Orpha Mae (Bunch) Holder. Survivors include, His Children, Yvonne Howser (James) of Lebanon, MO; Buddy Holder of Eldon, MO; Vanessa Admire (Tracy) of Eldon, MO; Rob Holder (Tami) of Eldon, MO Eighteen Grandchildren; Twenty-one Great Grandchildren & Three Great Great Grandchildren A son, Charlie Holder, Sr., a grandson, Virgil S. Holder IV and one great granddaughter, Sami Jo Woodcock preceded him in death. Virgil attended Faith Baptist Church of Eldon, MO. He was employed as a bus driver for the Eldon School District and the Dogwood Hills State School for many years and also farmed all of his life. Visitation will be Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Burial will follow at Dooley Cemetery near Eldon, MO. Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
