Vincent Dellacerra, 78 of Eltingville passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born Thursday, August 15, 1940 in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Frank Dellacerra and the late Ida Derenzia Dellacerra. Vincent served as a PFC in the Army from 1964 until 1969. He was a Veteran of Vietnam. A toll collector for the Port Authority, Vincent in his free time was a die hard Mets Fan. He enjoyed horseracing was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing cards. Beloved husband of 53 years to Rosemarie (Comito) Dellacerra Loving father of Vincent Dellacerra, Jr., and Jennifer Dellacerra. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
