Obituary of Timothy Jay Lunghi Mr. Timothy Jay Lunghi, 58 years of age formerly of Fairmont, WV passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Cherry Tree Nursing Home in Uniontown, PA. He was born September 1, 1960 in Fairmont, WV, the son of Felix Lunghi Jr. and the late Audrey Faye Lewis Lunghi. Tim is survived by three daughters Elizabeth Rowand of Fairmont, WV, Tammi Pierce and husband Liam of Myrtle Beach, SC and Felicia Lunghi of Ashland, OH; four grandchildren Dillion Dooly, Gabriel Dooly, Jaina Peirce and Xander Pierce; two brothers Patrick Lunghi and his wife Angie of Stephens City, VA and Mark Lunghi and his wife Nancy of Tampa, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim worked in the construction business in the area with Friend Construction Company. He enjoyed being outside spending time in the woods hunting and being on a boat or in a stream fishing. The fall season was about cheering on the West Virginia football team. He was a big fan of the Mountaineers. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV on Tuesday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Vigil Rite will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 PM with Sister Stella Cronauer C.S.J. presiding. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 329 Maryland Avenue, Fairmont, WV at 11:00 AM with Reverend Father Joe Konikattil presiding. The interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
