Trey was born in Rome, Georgia on October 17, 1979, son of Timothy Wayne Cordell and Peggy Brooks Cordell. He loved to fish, play horseshoes, and strum on his guitar. Trey never met a stranger. He enjoyed being with friends and family, and absolutely adored his three nieces. Trey was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Mary Alice Brooks. Trey is survived by his parents, Tim and Peggy Cordell; brothers and sister-in-law, Shane and Heather Cordell and Blake Cordell; grandparents, Vernon and Rachel Cordell; special nieces, Hayden Clark, Kaylie Cordell and Emorie Cordell; and a number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Johnson and Mr. Randy Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Hurley, Brian Blackwell, Brad Broome, Damien Brooks, Shaun Howard, and Harold Naves. Trey will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
