Riverside – Timothy J. Chapman, 61 of Riverside, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Evergreen Nursing Home in East Providence. He was the husband of Maria (DeSousa) Chapman. Timothy , was born in Barrington, the son of the late Robert and Jeannine (Plamondon) Chapman. He was a Mechanic for the Tasca Automotive Group, and a Tow truck Driver for American Automobile Association (AAA), for many years. Timothy has been a Riverside resident for the last 2 years, coming from Barrington. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Warren and a volunteer for the Warren Fire Department Rescue Squad, for a few years. He also enjoyed listening to the police and fire scanner. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons David Chapman of Riverside, and Frank Chapman and his wife Jessica of Washington, Va. Also survived by his brother Bobby Chapman of Coventry, and his sisters Carol Moreira of Warwick, Mararet Haury of San Diego Ca., Jessica Chapman Massotti of Riverside, Susan Bianchi of Pawtucket. Mr. Chapman was the grandfather of Aiden Cannon, Logan Chapman, Maddie Chapman, Korah Welch, Jaxon Chapman, Carson Chapman and Evan Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday May 31, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Prince’s Hill Cemetery, 283 County Road, Barrington, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
