She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Malden, MO. On September 21, 1939, in Florence, AL, she was united in marriage to Jay Copeland. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2010. Mrs. Copeland died Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her residence in Malden, MO, at the age 93 years. Survivors include 1 daughter, Peggy Stanz of Chaffee, MO; 3 sons, J.L. Copeland and wife, Laura of Malden, Olen Copeland and wife, Virginia of Poplar Bluff, MO and Glen Copeland and wife, Lolita of Decatur, IL; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 22 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; 1 sister and 2 granddaughters. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., at Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 P.M., in the chapel. Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden, MO.
