Stacey’s Obituary Stacey Gail Davis, 47, of 753 Mount Hermon Church Road, Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Born in Chowan County on March 30, 1972, she was the daughter of Leonard and Debbie Hurdle Davis of Elizabeth City. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Freddie and Vivian Davis, her maternal grandfather, E. L. Hurdle Jr, and by a nephew, Anderson Davis. Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Leonard Davis, Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Rockmart, GA; her maternal grandmother, Flora Hurdle of Belvidere; four nephews, Austin, Avery, Alex, and Ashton; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved her with all their heart; and her fur babies, Ike and Elvis. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation and to celebrate her life on Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford. The family would like to express a special thanks to her caregivers through the years, Tiffany, Lapresha, Selina, Amber, Yanira, Teresa and Priscilla. Your special care for Stacey was greatly appreciated. She loved you all.
