Obituary of Salvatore V. Caputo Salvatore V. Caputo, age 77 years, of Norristown, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019. Salvatore was born in Norristown, Pa on Tuesday, December 30, 1941, son of the late Luigi and the late Julia ( DeGideo ) Caputo. He has lived in Norristown, Pa since 2007, formerly of East Falls section of Philadelphia, Pa and Conshohocken, Pa. He was a member of the former SS. Cosmas & Damian RC Church. Salvatore was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a Car Salesman. He enjoyed deep sea fishing. He is survived by his wife Gianna ( Pessot ) Caputo of Norristown, Pa and their two daughters Tina (& Bob) Tompkins of Gilbert, AZ and Sabina Caputo of Conshohocken, Pa. Also survived by his brother Louis Caputo of West Conshohocken, Pa, his 4 grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Alyssa & Giovanna, and his 2 nieces Margaret Mary & Kathleen. His service and Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Sal’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
