Sally Mae Whitesides Collins December 26 1934 May 21 2019 (age 84)

Sally Collins, 84, was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma who was loved by many people. She passed away in Layton, Utah. She married Michael E. Collins on January 21, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. She and Mike served in the New Jersey Morristown and Cherry Hill Missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints beginning in 1995. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple for seven years. Sally and Mike have three sons, Scott (Pam), Marty (Lisa), David (Kelley), one daughter Karen (Paul); 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zulon E. and Emma Mae Carver Whitesides; sister, Lorraine Welsh; brother, Kent Whitesides; grandson Kit Collins; and great-grandchildren Corbin Nelson and Vivienne Green. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Central Stake Center, 555 North 100 East. Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. Sally believed strongly in helping students in schools.
