Mr. Roswell Theodore Smith, 72 a resident of Beulah, AL passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tom Corley officiating. Burial will follow at Hephzibah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST prior to the funeral. Survivors include his wife, Judy Smith, children, Shane Smith (Christie), Tammy Long (Tim), Eric Smith (Emmy); grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Haley Smith, Sarah Roberts (Scott), Hannah Johnson (Ethan), James Stathelson, Jacie Hasty & Jackson Smith; and five great-grandchildren including Isaac Roberts & Ember Roberts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Blalock; father, James Clyde Smith, and brother, Conley Smith. Mr. Smith was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 29, 1946 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
