Rosie Violet Tilley died May 12, 2019 in Lexington at the age of 92 years 3 months 6 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, May, 16, 2019 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to Wadley’s Funeral Service. Rosie was born February 6, 1927 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Isaac and Myrenda (Myers) Jones. She was raised and attended school in Purcell. In 1945, she married Logan Junior Tilley. While Logan was serving in the military, Rosie was home taking care of the farm and family. Rosie enjoyed gardening, crocheting, ceramics, and numerous other crafts. She enjoyed listening to Logan play the guitar and sing. Rosie and Logan loved spending time with their family, going camping, fishing, and going out on the boat at the lake. Rosie even help re-roof her home. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Myrenda Jones; sisters, Ellen Baker, Loreen Owens, Helen Lansdale; brothers, Jimmie Jones, Ervie Jones and John Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Linda George; son, Tommy Tilley and wife, Audrey; grandchildren, Amanda Randol and husband, Jason, Angela George, Troy Tilley and wife, Abby, Adam Tilley and wife, Kara; great grandchildren, Calum Tilley, Olivia Tilley, Cameron Randol, Brianna Randol, Aaron Tilley, Kassie Tilley; and numerous other relatives and friends. favorite_border Donations Pledges
