Roland’s Obituary ANSONIA: Roland F. Lima, age 81, entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 11, 2019, at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Louise Esposito Lima. Mr. Lima was born in Taunton, MA on April 28, 1938, son of the late Antonio and Rosalina Lima. He was employed as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer and Security Engineering in Forestville for 28 years, until his retirement in 2009. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Star Trek, Star Wars and the Marvel Comic Heroes. Roland enjoyed annual trips to Cape Cod and especially spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Louise, he is survived by loving step-sons, Ralph LaBranche (Cheryl) and Richard LaBranche (Stephanie) of Ansonia and Ronald LaBranche of Shelton, cherished grandchildren, Thomas LaBranche (Sofia), Steven LaBranche (Keilan), Amanda LaBranche (Ken), Jenna LaBranche, Erik LaBranche, Jesse LaBranche (Jessica), Korin LaBranche and Ryan LaBranche, great-grandchildren, Damian Ortiz and Conor LaBranche as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Manny, Edmund and John Lima. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday May 19, 2019, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, his funeral will begin at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in Mt.
