Roger Cochern passed away in his home on Saturday, April 20. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Cochern, 98, of Campbell, CA. His four children, Rachel, Matthew (spouse Jenee), Jona (spouse Dennis Ellis) and Abigail (fiancé Nick Wheeler). He also has 11 grandchildren. Lilianna, Matea-Rose, Tresean, Paityn, Neasjah, Waiverly, Declyn, Hadley, Nola, Finley and Avorie. He was one of 7 children to George and Bobbi Cochern and is also survived by his 6 siblings Linda, Tom, Judy, Betsy, John and Carol. Roger was born in the state of New York and then moved to Oregon at just 6 weeks old. Shortly after, his parents settled in Campbell, CA where his mother still resides in their family home. Roger and family moved to Eagle, Idaho in 1984 where he worked as a letter carrier for 18 years in the Treasure Valley. He was incredibly proud of that career and had some of the strongest work ethic we ever knew. Roger was one of the funniest, most caring and loving people. He will be deeply missed. Family and friends will celebrate his life on Sunday, June 9th with times and location still to be determined.
