Rodney’s Obituary Rodney Gene Werle was born February 18, 1944 in Excelsior Springs, MO to Marvin and Mildred (Denton) Werle. He passed away May 11, 2019 in Oronogo, MO at the age of 75. Rodney was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired after 30 years as a truck driver for Berbiglia Liquors in Kansas City, MO. After moving to San Antonio, TX Rodney spent 6 years working at the Airport before moving to Joplin to be near family. Rodney love the Kansas City Chiefs, the Royals, and motorcycles. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mildred Werle, and a brother in law, Jerry Brashears, grandparents, and several cousins. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Werle, Kansas City, MO; one son, James Werle of Hannibal, MO; Four sisters: Chrystie McCormick, Joplin, MO; Susan Brashears, Oronogo, MO; Pamela Willoughby and husband Ron, Joplin, MO; Patricia Pugh and husband Mike of Owasso, OK; Janice Brown and husband, Scott of Joplin, MO; Two brothers: Terry Werle of Joplin, MO; and Gerry Werle of Joplin, MO; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be donated to the PKD Foundation. Read More
