Obituary for Robin Michelle “Toad” Effler Robin Michelle “Toad” Effler, age 45, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at her residence, after a courageous battle with MS. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Ronald and Lucille Tipton Effler. Robin was former employee of Morrill Motors where she worked in assembly. She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. Robin loved going to the lake and fishing. Toad was a very active and strong advocate for MS. She fought hard to help speak out for all who were suffering from MS. Toad loved all of her family and friends, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her fiance of twenty-nine years, Tommy Phillips; two brothers: Phillip and Jerry Effler; two sisters: Rhonda White (Robby), all of Erwin, Lisa Davis (Glenn), Chuckey; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Big Branch Church. Pastor Charles David Byrd will officiate at the 2:00 P.M. funeral service. Interment will follow in the Effler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Phillips, Glenn Davis, Phillip Effler, Chase White, Robby White and Randal Morrow.
