In humble submission to the will of God, Christian Memorial Chapel, LLC sadly announces the passing of the Reverend Lillian Collins Jones, age 76, Reverend Jones transitioned into eternal rest and peace Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida. She was a native of Jackson County and the wife of Howard Jones. Although we are saddened by her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she’s in a land “where she’ll never grow old.” Farewell, Reverend Jones, you were tired and needed your rest. You were called forth by God, and your soul was truly blessed. We will not weep and mourn because we don’t see you on this side anymore. We know that you’ll be waiting to meet us on the other shore. Please keep the Jones and Collins’ family in prayer, as we reflect the gracious memories.
