Pauline C. Spurlock, 84, of Corydon, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born May 3, 1935, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Harley and Sylvia Smith Curts. She was formerly employed at M. Fine & Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, was retired from Vencor in New Albany where she worked as an in home caregiver, and was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard C. Spurlock; and her sister, Daisy Lutz. Survivors include her sons, Mark R. Spurlock (Lynn) of Borden, Indiana and David A. Spurlock (Janine) of Georgetown, Indiana; her daughter, Rita K. Gettelfinger (Brian) of Ramsey, Indiana; her sister, Jo Ann Bradshaw (Norman) of North Vernon, Indiana; her grandchildren, Chris Spurlock, Aaron Gettelfinger, Alyssa Spurlock, Kylie Spurlock, Ethan Spurlock and Tristan Lamb; and her great grandchildren, Arianna, Isabella, Zane and Hadley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor James Allen, Charles Paisley and Kevin Crase will officiate. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian and Aaron Gettelfinger, Alan and Nathan Lutz, Wes Bradshaw and Harlan Fisher.
