CATO | Patricia A. Ward, 80, of Cato, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at her home. Born on Jan. 9, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edith and Leonard Taylor. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Rodney Ward; her half-sisters, Marjorie Zott and Celia; her brother, James Taylor; sisters, Delores Ward, Jesse Wellington, and Linda (William) Ward, and sister-in-law, Carol. Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Jolene (Gregg); her son, Scott (Debbie); her grandchildren, Richard (Jen), Collene (Steve), Kristi (Will), Kelly (Joe), and Melissa (Nate); her great-grandchildren, Kayleb, Nina, Robert, Kathryn, and Brenda Sue, and several nieces and nephews. The Ward Family would like to thank William Miller and the Hospice nurses. Calling hours will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:30 p.m. Friends are invited to join with the family for a gathering at the Cato American Legion following the service.
