Pamela Elsie Mimbs, age 70, of Cadwell, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Allen, Jody Fountain, Jason Hawkins, Tommy Thompson, Michael Coleman, and Andy Avant. Mrs. Mimbs was a native of Laurens County and the daughter of the late Hardwick Avant and the late Catherine Avant Lee. She loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Mimbs; grandson, Hunter Mimbs, and brother, Phillip Lee. Survivors include her sons, Tony Mimbs (Amy), of Rentz, Jody Mimbs (Alana), of Monroe, and Jason Mimbs (Merissa), of Cadwell; grandchildren, Tori Mimbs, of Rentz, Tyler Mimbs and Jayla Mimbs, both of Ankorage, Alaska, and Brantley Mimbs, of Cadwell; brothers, Garry Batt, of Arley, England, and Terry Avant, of St. Simons Island, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
