Ophelia’s Obituary Ophelia Marshall, 99, of Cameron, LA passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. Ophelia was born on September 4, 1919 in Johnson Bayou, LA to Charles Robert “Rob” Burch and Estella “Stella” Adaway Burch. Mrs. Marshall was a honorary charter member of Johnson Bayou Baptist Church, enjoyed playing bingo, cards, reading, fishing and eating crabs and crawfish. She loved western shows, sitting on a porch and spending time with her family She is survived by four children, Nola “Faye” Billiot and husband Don, William “Bill” Burch and wife Linda, and Gus Allen Adaway; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Ophelia is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Catherine Trahan; three grandchildren, Todd Billiot and Christy Faye Billiot, and Gary Blaine Burch. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Gandy officiating. Burial will be in Head of Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 29 at 8 A.M. until time of the service. Read More
