Weidinger, age 63, of Bayfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Memorial Medical Center in Ashland. He was born on June 21, 1955 in Ashland, the son of Edmund and Gay (Worman) Weidinger. Norman graduated from Washburn High School. He has always lived on the family farm and working there until he wasn’t able to work it anymore due to his illnesses. Norman loved to visit with people and was always cheerful. He was well known for being able to take things apart and put them back together again. He also loved cutting firewood and cutting hay. He is survived by his lifelong girlfriend, Roberta Hanson – Washburn, a sister, Donna (Ron) Line – Bayfield, a brother, Richard (Cheryl) Weidinger – Bayfield, 3 nieces and nephews, Chris, Kellie and Karli, 3 great nieces and nephews, Savanna, Marcus and Mason, a great-great-niece, Dakota and a special friend, Kim Halvorson – Bayfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William Weidinger. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Bratley Funeral Home in Washburn with Chaplain Andrew MacGregor from Memorial Medical Center, officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Saturday.
