Nora Louise Leonard, age 79, of Bristol, TN passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Ballad Hospice House. She member of Bethel View Baptist Church where she loved working with the kids in church. She loved to garden and all the flowers that the garden produced. She was known at “Nanny Lou” or Granny to all the children she helped. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie William and Alice Rosenbalm Cross and children, Lisa Leonard and Bobby Lynn Leonard. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, James R. Leonard; sons, Ronald William Pullon, James Dwayne Leonard and Michael Ray Leonard and wife, Robin; brother, Raymond Stanley Cross and wife, Charline; granddaughter, Jennifer Slagle and four great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Emmett, Haylee and Hannah and special cousin, Brenda Walsh. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Bethel View Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Wood officing. Burial will follow in Gunnings Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
