NETTIE MAE ROBERTA JONES SCOTT age 94 of Clanton, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home. She was born in Alabama on June 24, 1924 to the late Joseph M. Jones and the late Annie Lou Hornsby Jones. She was a former retail clerk. She is survived by her son, Mark Scott of Clanton; Grandchildren, Joel David (Marie) Scott of Cottondale, AL and Stephanie Leigh (Jay) Pope of Cottondale, AL; Great-grandson, Jason Ray of Maplesville; Sister, Betty Sue Godsey of Haleyville, AL; and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Glenn Scott and her parents, Joseph and Annie Lou Jones. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hank Walker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
