Nancy Caroline Barron, age 88, went to be with the Lord May 21, 2019 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on April 4, 1931 to Columbus (CR) and Georgia Fuller Bailey. Siblings were Junius (JJ) (deceased), Hortense(deceased), Chalmers, Joyce, and Carlos. She is preceded in death by her husband Benesteen (Ben) Barron who passed away October 2000. Ben and Nancy were married in 1948. Nancy was a loving mother who birthed 7 children (4 daughters and 3 sons) – Delana Barron, Lajanet Troxtel (husband Dennis), Delton Barron(wife Rebecca). Dwight Barron (wife Beth), Julia Benita Carolyn Barron(deceased March 1963), Michael Barron (wife Cynthia), Angela Hammond (husband Tim). She was blessed with 14 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren. Nancy was well known for her cooking and love of her family. Nancy became a Christian at an early age, and loved listening to Southern Gospel Music. A funeral service will be held at Rainsville Funeral Home, Rainsville, Al. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 2pm.
