Michael J. Dial, 63, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 25, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland from a cardiac event. He was born June 27, 1955 in Cleveland. Mike was a veteran and served in the US Marines. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. Mike loved the Pittsburgh Steelers! He also enjoyed camping, cooking for others and classical music. He leaves behind; his wife of 30 years, Debbie (nee Moore); his children, Heather Dial-Fuller (Nate), Terra Fisher (Andy), and Joseph Dolan (Jennifer); 18 grandchildren, Dustin, Andrew, Brandon, Kayla, Mylea, Steven, A.C., Becca, Ethan, Elias, Michaela, Joseph, Emilee, Brian, Patty, Brendon, Chyanne and Hailee; four great grandchildren, Hunter, Quinn, Bella and Rayleigh; three sisters, Beverly Alferink and Gail White, both of Cleveland and Louise Shepard of Alabama; and his brother, Roy Dial of Elyria. He was preceded in death by; his parents, William and Dorothy (nee Gannon) Dial, and by his brother, Rick Dial. According to Mike’s wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date. Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
