Keroack April 28, 1933 – April 21, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Keroack, Maurice L., 85, of Zephyrhills, passed away Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, FL. Maurice was born April 23, 1933 in Manchester, NH, the son of Armond L. and Edwina (Roy) Keroack. He graduated from Manchester High School Central in June 1951 and soon after married Lorraine Leiberta in 1952. Maurice enlisted in the USAF in 1953-1961 and was stationed in Rome, NY at Oswego where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Industrial Arts Education in 1960. He received his Master of Science in Education in 1963. Maurice started his teaching career and was a wrestling coach at Marcellus High School. After leaving Marcellus, NY, Maurice taught at the University of Buffalo, NY then left Buffalo, NY to expand his Plastics career at the Society of Plastics Engineers, Inc. (SPE) and Society of Plastics Industries (SPI). Maurice started the Plastics Education Foundation on Injection Molding and Safety in Albany, NY. Maurice ended his teaching career retiring from Del-Chao-Med-Otsego BOCES, Norwich, NY. Maurice was an active gymnast in high school. His gymnastic’s team auditioned for the Ted Mack Amateur Hour in NYC. Maurice played every game that had a paddle. He excelled in sports winning over 200 trophies. Maurice became a snowbird after retirement and enjoyed family, traveling, and sports. Maurice is survived by 3 daughters, Maureen (Ron) Kuntz, Laurie (Jim) Staebler, Katheen (Bob) Callen; 1 son, Gary (Anne) Keroack; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, Clair and Finn; and his significant other, Marcella Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Armand Keroack Jr. Maurice will be buried on August 24, 2019 in Manchester, NH with a small graveside service.
