Mary’s Obituary DILLON Services for Mary Carol Lane will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mary, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Dillon, SC, December 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Fulton Lane, Jr. and Juanita Gray Lane. She was a member of Latta Baptist Church, and was a past bookkeeper/secretary at Waste Management Systems with Alvin Nobles, Cottingham Trailer Service with Mark Cottingham, and Briggs Realty with Kozo Briggs. Survivors include her sisters, Alice (Bill) Howell of Lamar, and Nancy (Dan) Kelly of Clermont, FL; nieces and nephews, Cynthia (Tony) Collins of Mullins, Teresa (Craig) Martin of Marion, Lee (Tiletha) Lane of Hartsville, Jody (Lisa) Lane of Florence, Jason (Jennifer) Skinner of Charleston, and Joseph (Marcia) Skinner of Bloomfield, MI, Major Matt (Amy) Rogers of Seoul, Korea, and Amy Rogers of Riverview, FL; great-nieces and nephews, Preston, Whitney, Adam, Savannah, Ansley, Hayden, Avery, Baxley, Jace, William, John and Josie; Best Friend, Olivia C. Coburn. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Lane of Florence; Best Friend, Billy Cottingham of Dillon; and special canine child, Snuckums.
