Mary Beatrice Williard, 86, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. She was born May 19, 1932 in Forsyth County to Fannie Everidge Williard and Dewey Aaron Williard. Mary graduated from Gray High School in 1951 and was a lifetime member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren. She worked for Hanes Knitting Company and later retired from Baptist Hospital after 27 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lib Davis (Clarence), Frances Minish (Harold); Elsie Eicher (Bill) and Claudia Craddock (Leon); two brothers, Buck Williard (Hilda) and Richard Williard. Surviving are her brother, Robert Williard (Ann) and a sister-in-law, Pat Williard. She took pride in sharing that she had 67 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Fraternity Church of the Brethren with Pastor Dave Kindy and Pastor Robert Williard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Trellis Supportive Care for their loving care and compassion for Mary. Memorials may be made to Fraternity Church of the Brethren, Heifer International or Crisis Control Ministry.
