Marion Mildred “Boozie” Smith, 63, of Bloomington passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. She was born on February 13, 1956 in Spencer, Indiana, the daughter of William and Genora R. (Holland) Babbs. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1081 in Bloomington, she was a homemaker and loved her family, her son and her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking playing cards, bingo, fishing with her husband, and going to the Moose Lodge, Marion is survived by her son, Willie J. Smith of Ellettsville; two grandchildren, Amanda Smith of Solsberry, Kady Smith of Bloomington, four great grandchildren Jay McKinley, Brylee McKinley, Tristan Nicholson, Alayna Moreno, two step-daughters, Karla Meadows of Ellettsville, Sheila Smith of Oolitic, and five step grandchildren; her sisters, Racheal Carpenter, Nina Arms and Darlene Robb all of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Tom Hawkins, one daughter Shelly Smith four brothers George Babbs, Tommy Babbs, Ronnie Babbs, Dale Babbs, three sisters, Marvetta Boler, Sandy Dawson and Carol Steele.
