Marilynne May Moore May 23 2019

84 years young, adored mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Marilynne May Moore passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on May 23, 2019 in Juneau, Alaska. Marilynne was born and raised in Colorado. After graduating from Meeker High School, she was blessed with two daughters, Lori and Jana, and a soon to be life of travel. She married the love of her life, AC Moore, who led her on many adventures around the world. They lived on, or visited five continents in their many years working overseas. After retirement, in an attempt to “settle down”, she resided in Kerrville, Texas for thirty years. Her most recent residence was Juneau, Alaska, however, heaven will be her final resting place. Marilynne was a spirited and vibrant woman who lived a long, happy, and healthy life. Music and laughter were her vitamins. Family and friends were her greatest source of joy. A few of her favorite words (that can be printed here): food, fun, go, love. Marilynne was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her husband. In addition to many loved and cherished friends and family, she is survived by her daughters, Lori Fredenberg (Virgil) of Juneau, Alaska, and Jana Hanstedt (Barry) of Durango, Colorado, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren As requested, her ashes will be spread in her beloved Colorado at a time yet to be determined.
