Obituary of Maria Korines Maria Korines, 58, of Blauvelt passed away peacefully on 5-16-19 with her loving family by her side. Maria was born August 7, 1960 in Sparta, Greece to Timothy and Joanne (Metakis) Korines. Maria moved to the USA when she was six years old. Maria was a graduate of TZ High School (1978). She worked for Shoprite Supermarkets for over 25 years. Maria is survived by her loving parents Timothy and Joanne, two brothers, Chris (Robin) of Nanuet, Bill of Blauvelt, and her sister, Donna (Michael) of Blauvelt. Her Godchildren Leo Kalamaras, James Korines, Nicole Hennessy and Anthony Korines as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Maria was predeceased by her Grandparents Panayiotis and Antonia Metakis and Panayiotis and Maria Korines. Maria will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends on Sunday May 19th from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph W.
