Maria’s Obituary Maria Mujica Rogerson, a long-time resident of Duxbury, Massachusetts, passed away at home on Christmas Eve after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in 1934 in Ermita, Cuba, Maria immigrated to the Unites States in 1953. She was known for her beautiful love of life. She was passionate about music, golf, the Red Sox, gardening, good food and socializing with her wonderful friends and family. She was an active member of the Duxbury Yacht Club for over 55 years, a supporter of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Audubon Society and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Most of all she loved her family: Bob (Christine) Rogerson, Tom (Cathy) Rogerson, Terry (Bob) Wynne, and her grandchildren: Billy, Peter (Allie), Carly (Sam), Christian, Sarah, Sophie, Juliette, and her step-grandchildren, Jason, Corinne, Philip, and Becky. She also leaves her sister Joaquina (Frank) Gallagher and her brother Hugo (Bernie) Mujica, as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Milagro, Oscar, Osvaldo, Iria, Diana and her past husbands Francis Cushing Rogerson and Harry L. Johnson.
