Marcella “Judy” Prengel May 21, 1925 – May 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Marcella “Judy” Prengel, 93 of Mauston passed away on May 5, 2019 at Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, Wisconsin. She was born on May 21, 1925 to Louis and Rose (Eckl) Fuehrer in Auburndale, Wisconsin. She attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from Mauston High School. Marcella married the love of her life James Prengel on September 23, 1946. They had two sons Michael and Thomas, They ived in Wisconsin and Illinois settling permanently in Mauston, Wisconsin. Marcella’s faith and family were the most important things in her life and she also loved her pet dogs. She worked several different types of jobs but was mainly a homemaker. Marcella and Jim loved to travel around the United States mostly in the south to avoid the cold Wisconsin winters. Marcella is survived by her brother –in-law and sister-in-law Roger and Kate Prengel of Washington State as well as friends, Rose Pellegrin, George and Barb Hepler of Mauston. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons and two sisters Eleanor and Mary Ann. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mauston. Family and friends would like to send a very special thank you to Dr. Jane Kattenbraker and the staff at Fair View Nursing Home for the care and love they showed to “Judy” over the past 3 years.
