Dorfmeyer, of Toledo, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Mercy-St. Anne’s Hospital at the age of 89. She was born in Fremont, OH to Walter and Anna (House) Anspach on January 20, 1930. She graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1948. In 1949 she married Adelbert Frederick Dorfmeyer. Lucy had worked as a nanny for several families, as well as, in the kitchen at Steaks restaurant. She enjoyed being with family and friends and was a member of Horizons of Hope. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lucille Anspach, Mary Anne Karause; brother, John Anspach; and daughter, Anne Marie Dorfmeyer. Surviving are her children: Greg (Jenny) Dorfmeyer and their children Joe Dorfmeyer, Josh Dorfmeyer and Amy Dibbs Jeff (Regina) Dorfmeyer and their son, Jeff Jr. Sheree (Don) Spencer and their children Connie (Jon) Rice, Anne (Jeremy) Merillat and Crystal (Brian) Jones Penny (Jim) Willard and their children Layla Abraham and Jordan Abraham Candy Lakhlani and her son, Neal Lakhlani Great Grandchildren: Dakota Bridge, Tyler and Luc Rice, Taylor and Stetson Wilson, Brett, Chloe and Lauryn Merillat, Blake and Bliss Jones, Carson Conrad, Madelyn Abraham, Layla, Logan and Lillian Lakhlani and Great Great Grandchild, Jamesyn Wilson. Visitation will be held at the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave. (at Woodley Rd.) from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday May 17, 2019. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH. The family wishes to thank the staff at Arbors of Sylvania for their care given to Lucy. Memorial contributions are suggested to Horizons of Hope.
