Louvenda V. “Mary” Edmond, 90, of Hammondsville, passed away, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville. Born, February 10, 1929, in Barbour County, WV., she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Hallie Newman Bolner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Edmond; sons, Forrest Lee Edmond and Larry Edmond; brothers, Forrest and Oren Bolner and sister, Maxine Jackson. Mary was a member of the Hammondsville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed nature, flowers, birds, fishing and hunting for mushrooms. In her spare time, she also enjoyed crocheting. Mary will be missed by her sons, Robert Lee Edmond Jr. and his wife Ruth of Columbus, OH., Arnold Edmond and his wife Eleni of Bamburg, Germany, Dennis Edmond, and the late Barb Edmond, John Edmond and his wife Karen and Floyd Edmond and his wife Brenda, all of Hammondsville, OH.; daughter, Luann Martin and the late Larry Martin of Highlandtown, OH.; sister, Opal Robinson of Arden, WV.; she will also be missed by her 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Pastor Danny Crow will celebrate Mary’s life, Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell. Friends may visit with the family, Friday, May 3, 2019, from 4:00PM-8:00OPM.
